Dining at restaurant La Garenne is a feast for all the senses. The gorgeous dining room, with its splashes of colour offers an elegant, contemporary setting, and the spacious veranda enjoys exceptional views over the park. In good weather, take your time to enjoy your meal on the leafy terrace, by the poolside. We also serve meals in a number of smaller rooms which provide privacy for business meals.
The chef and his team
Our young chef, Nicolas Birault, heads up a 7-person team which develops inventive, flavoursome cuisine in beautifully-presented dishes made with fresh produce. In the dining room, overseen by restaurant director David Ducret, a team of 5 will cater to your every need to ensure you enjoy an unforgettable meal.
The cuisine of Burgundy
With its fantastic range of regional produce (snails, truffles, poultry, beef, cheese, mustard...), Burgundy is famous for its gourmet dining. Several traditional Burgundy dishes have become part of France's national heritage. But Burgundy also stands out for the range and quality of its wines, which provide a delightful accompaniment to this cuisine which blends tradition and creativity. To help you find the perfect combination of food and wine, La Garenne offers a choice of over 200 wines. Most of these come from Burgundy and Côte Chalonnaise. David Ducret, restaurant manager, can also introduce you to less well-known wines which are sure to delight as well.
